The accolade of best bar went to Varsity on Oxford Road and Revolution at Deansgate Locks came in second, both of which are clients of Radius Security.
Over three hundred and fifty people attended the awards at the Midland Hotel on Sunday 20 September along with representatives from the police, Manchester City Council, NHS Manchester, licensees, the drinks industry and the event sponsors, Diagio, Key 103 and Budweiser.
A record number of sixty four venues met the required standard of safety to receive accreditation, meaning that they can now use the official Manchester 'Best Bar None' logo on their own promotional advertising to let customers know that the venue is working hard to keep them safer.
