In April 2003, The Houses of Parliament passed a white paper in conjunction with the privatisation of The Security Industry Act, and from this the Security Industry Authority (SIA) was formed. The intention being 'to greatly improve the standards that the security industry operates within'.

Radius Security, the North West Security Experts and providers of Door Supervision and Event Security was formed in 2004 to grasp the numerous opportunities created by this new legislation. With anti social behaviour on the increase in our towns and cities it is essential to create a safe environment and minimise any potential threat to customers, employees and property. Radius aims to become a market leader in setting new standards for the security industry and to comply with fast moving legislation changes in order to be ahead of the competition.
